Europe Trip (Day 6)
Hari yang kelam kabut. Woke up late, had a flight to Newcastle to catch, Peon had to rush to CDG to jemput her family, barang tak packing bla bla...dalam train terpisah dengan Peon, so I asked her to go ahead to CDG first, aku dah terlajak sampai the next station, turun patah balik to change trains, owh pening2. And all the while takut terlambat naik flight lagi! Called Kak Yatie, minta dia tlg check what is the next flight to Newcastle. In case, I missed that flight. Sampai CDG, lari2 cam orang kena kejar hantu, tgk2 counter check in dah tutup, diorang tak kasi masuk. I was late by 1 minute, okay!!! Maka aku pun buat lah muka kesian cam itik putus cinta, dan taktik itu berjaya, Thank God they finally let me in! Wuuuhuuuu!!!
Newcastle, here I come!
First thing I noticed dlm flight is...Eh, they speak English! Hahaha...after a few days in France and Spain, kinda refreshing to be able to understand what people around me are saying. To be able to get my message thru to people without having to revert to sign language. So I sat back and smiled. And slept all the way to Newcastle.
Uk's customs adalah strict. Everyone's been warning me about em, Jaga-jaga jgn salah cakap kang kena balik Malaysia terus. Makkkk, takottt! Huhuh...but Newcastle's customs not as bad as London's, so they say. Chit-chatted for about 5 mins, dia tanya kerja apa, duduk kat mana, baju cantik beli kat mana, dah kahwin ke belum, boleh berkenalan ke tidak (okay, aku tipu) and he let me thru. Huhuhu...keluar airport dgn senyum kebanggaan. Macam pass exam with flying colors babe!
Took a cab to Kak Yatie's place, about 15 mins away from the airport. Turun je cab, there she was at the door...wahhhh, I haven't seen this lady for like, 5 years! Kamu2 yang tidak tahu siapakah wanita jelita yg saya maksudkan ini, sila klik link to her fotopages kat tepi tu. Mom of 2 handsome boys, but this lady is so petite, takut nak peluk kang patah pinggang dia! Heheh!
Petang tu jalan2 di bandar Newcastle, with Adam dan Harris yang kacak (owh I soooo miss these boys!), Aizudin (Cousin to Kak Yatie's hubby) and Kak Yatie, of course. Abang Ali (Kak Yatie's hubby) joined us in town. Preview barang2 dan pasang target apa nak beli, coz sales starts the very next day! Bought a pair of dorothy perkins jeans je today.
Went back home, just sat teman Kak Yatie while she cooks (bukan I tak nak tolong, Kak Yatie yg tak kasi!) and talk. About lotsa stuffs. These moments are definitely among the most memorable things about going to Europe, for me. Watching her skillfully cooks nasi tomato yang sangat enak, seeing how she handle her boys...dengan segala kerendahan hati saya, I truly salute u, sis!
That nite during dinner, we were joined by Abg Ali's friend, Abg Aziz. Truly flamboyant character, seronok dgr cerita pergi flea market beli a microwave for 2 pounds, how he bought 10 microwaves, 8 rice cooker 5 kitchenaide...u get the idea. All kat flea market. Dengan cita2 murni nanti bila balik malaysia, bagi2 saudara mara. Wehuu! Nak tumpang ngaku sedara boleh, bang? :-D
Tidur lena diatas katil Adam. Hehehe...(terasa lebih muda 20 tahun!)
