Gegetas

Thanks to Farrah, I made kuih getas-getas last nite! Hahaha...truth is I never had that kuih before, maka penasaran when I read it in her blog. Tengok resepi macam senang jek, balik rumah terus capai tepung pulut, kelapa parut dkk. Much to my mom's amazement, of course. Kebetulan my auntie pun datang last nite, maka telah diberi A+ oleh kedua-dua mereka, beserta kelulusan untuk segera mendirikan rumahtangga. Eceh. Thanks Farrah for sharing the link and the love for kuih getas-getas! :-D

Kata Auntie saya,

"Patut pun awak beriya-iya belajar kuih ni, kat Indonesia famous kuih ni!"

Wah! Really? Hahaha...according to her, it tastes somewhat similar to an Indonesian delicacy. I haven't really figure out what, but I think the resepi lebih kurang macam Jadah Tempe, only minus the tempe. Gonna need my Indonesian friends to help me on this. Kuih apa ya?

If I can actually make an Indonesian kue, I consider it really cool since a friend made this remark just yesterday,
"kamu, punya calon suami orang indonesia, gak bisa bahasa indo"

And I can tell him, bahasa Indo saya mungkin ngaco, but I can cook Indonesian food!! Wooohoooo!!! (and I am pretty sure he'll laugh his head off at this remark. Naseb.)
